JOHANNES KEPLER (1571 - 1630)

JOHANNES KEPLER (1571 - 1630) was a German astronomer and mathematician, inventor of Kepler's law, Kepler telescope inventor, the inventor of the symbolism in the geometry propotio divina, constituent star catalog (Rudolf list), the father of modern optics, the father of modern astronomy, the inventor of the Nova (exploding star ), the inventor of the theory of light, the author. Kepler was born in Weil der Stadt, Wϋrttemberg, Germany, on December 27, 1571 and died in Regensburg, Bavaria, on November 15, 1630 Married twice because the first wife died, had thirteen children, Protestant, supporting the theory of Copernicus, subvert the theory of circular orbits is 2,000 years old.

Kepler's end of life suffered because he was lack of money and have lots of children, Germany was hit by the Thirty-year War. Kepler grave dismantled by hostile parties. Kepler discovery is very important not to notice. Experts appreciate not star. His childhood was also full of suffering. He was born prematurely. Father and mother fought constantly. His father was a mercenary who does not want to work. His mother child nagging stall owner. Kepler became neglected and sickly. Fortunately, the regional head Wϋrttemberg kind to be used as Kepler adopted child and in school finance.

Kepler attended the Seminary of Adelberg and Maulbronn because he wanted to be a pastor. Later he attended the University of Tϋbingen. He arrived at the University as a very smart and got a scholarship. In Tϋbingen he studied theology, philosophy, and mathematics. Shortly thereafter he met with Michael Maestlia, support astronomer Copernicus theory. Before the completion theology, Kepler was appointed professor of mathematics in Graz, Austria. At the age of 25 years Kepler published his book, The Mystery of cosmography (1596) in Latin. This work attracted the attention of Tycho Brahe, a mathematician at the court of the Holy Roman Emperor. Kepler was appointed aide Benatek Observatory, Prague. Tycho Brahe died the next know and Kepler so his successor.

Tycho Brahe leave records and data about the position of the fixed stars are still 777 messy and incomplete. Kepler prepare and equip so 1,005 stars. To make the list this star Kepler worked diligently and conscientiously for 23 years. Is then given a list of names list in honor of Emperor Rudolf Rudolf, Tycho Brahe sponsors, and Kepler. With the data of Tycho Brahe collected for 20 years trying to find the orbit of planets Kepler. After studying the data of Tycho Brahe for 8 years Kepler discovered that planets actually orbit. Discovery he explored in his book New Astronomy (1609).

In the book entitled New Astronomy (1609) contains among other things, the law of Kepler I: "elliptical planetary orbits. The sun is located at one focus ". Kepler's second law: "During the revolution of the planets, the line connecting the center of the planet and the sun in the same time period across equal areas". Ten years later managed to find a new Kepler third law: "The square of the revolution when the planet is directly proportional to the cube of its average distance from the sun". Kepler's third law was published in a book entitled The balance of the World (1619). This led to Newton's law Kepler discovered the theory of gravity. Kepler's laws are found after Kepker work hard for at least 18 years of age.
